Graduate Programs Ranked Among Nation’s Best in U.S. News Rankings
Education programs ranked in the Top 100 for the first time in 2023-2024 Best Graduate Schools rankings

Montclair State University’s graduate programs in Education have been ranked among the top 100 in the country in the U.S. News & World Report 2023-2024 Best Graduate Schools rankings.
The Education programs in the University’s College of Education and Human Services collectively rose 44 spots to No. 83 in the rankings, marking the first time the offerings have ranked in the Top 100 in the annual U.S. News publication.
In program-specific rankings, Montclair’s graduate Elementary Teacher Education program maintained its ranking at No. 22 in the nation. Additionally, the University’s Public Health program rose 20 spots to No. 150. Montclair’s Part-Time MBA program also improved to No. 208 in the rankings.
“These rankings signify Montclair’s growing reputation as a comprehensive, public-serving research university,” says Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Junius Gonzales. “Montclair’s unique value proposition of affordable, high-quality education provides excellent quality for students pursuing graduate education.
