The countdown to Homecoming has begun! Don’t miss the big day of fun, food and football — not to mention an art exhibition, student dance and musical performances and a lot of school spirit on Oct. 29, 2022. Homecoming is always a good day to enjoy a visit to to visit campus, rain or shine.
This year’s events include a street fair with live music, food and carnival games along Chapin Drive, a student talent showcase at the historic amphitheater, an alumni barbecue and, for those 21 and over, a craft beer garden.
Among the day’s other highlights will be the 1 p.m. Red Hawk football game against Christopher Newport University and the pre-game ceremony starting at 12:30 p.m. posthumously honoring recent NFL Hall of Fame inductee Sam Mills ‘81, one of Montclair’s greatest athletes of all time.
Meanwhile, there will be spirit events on campus all week for students, including a concert, a silent disco, a block party and roller skating, all aimed to gear up for the big day.
