The Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University is now offering a new Master of Science in Digital Marketing Analytics, with the program welcoming its first cohort in the fall 2022 semester.
The 30-credit, STEM-designated program is designed for marketing professionals or those entering the field who seek a foundation in highly desirable applied business analytics skills and hands-on knowledge of current practices in digital marketing.
Students in the program will work with real-world data and intelligence to develop mobile, social and web strategies that drive profitable growth by aligning campaigns with consumer needs. The program culminates with a capstone experience, including a practicum that delivers applied learning via actual Digital Marketing challenges by pairing student teams with organizations seeking assistance.
Students may complete the program through either a hybrid or fully online format, providing accessible, affordable pathways to earning a graduate degree.
Junzhou Zhang, assistant professor of Marketing in the Feliciano School of Business and interim graduate program coordinator, says that marketplace demand for digital marketing and marketing analytics skills has increased sharply in recent years, and such growth is projected to be faster than average over the next decade. With the program set to begin in late August, seats are still available in its first-ever cohort.
“Digital Marketing Analytics programs currently offered by academic institutions within the metropolitan region are very limited,” Zhang says, adding that the new MS program is a response to that need. “Our program combines cutting-edge digital marketing and business analytics content and real-world experiences to meet current and future local and global demand.”
