Montclair State University’s men’s soccer team captured its second-straight New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) championship on Saturday, November 10 with a 1-0 victory over Rowan University in the NJAC Tournament Final.
Behind a goal from freshman Oscar Sanchez in the game’s final minutes, the Red Hawks (16-4-1) secured their third NJAC title in four seasons and earned an automatic bid in the upcoming NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship, which begins Saturday, November 16.

Montclair State will take on Hobart College November 16 at 1 p.m. on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the 64-team tournament’s opening round.
