The Graduate School at Montclair State University to Hold Open House

Montclair State will host The Graduate School Open House on Sunday, October 27 to provide an opportunity for prospective students to learn more about the University’s nationally recognized graduate programs.
The Graduate School offers master’s degrees, doctoral degrees, certificates and certification programs in nearly 100 fields of study. All of the graduate degree programs offer flexible schedules of day, evening, weekend and hybrid courses.
“We invite you to attend to find out how a graduate education can help you achieve your professional goals and earning potential,” says Scott Herness, Vice Provost for Research and Dean of The Graduate School.
Prospective graduate students will have opportunities to meet with faculty from 100 graduate programs. The event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include breakout sessions on select programs and financial aid, and a Q&A on academics, student life and the graduate experience with current students and faculty.
Montclair State’s scholarly activity, research and doctoral-level education are recognized nationally by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education as a research doctoral university, and by the State of New Jersey as a public research university.
The University is listed among the national’s top 90 public universities by U.S. News & World Report. Graduate programs in education were ranked among the nation’s best in U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Education Schools. The MBA and Accounting programs of the Feliciano School of Business were both ranked in the top three out of 25 New Jersey institutions in the 2018 NJBIZ Reader Rankings.
