The RAVE Guardian App can be used to quickly contact the University Police Department, when you are on campus, or the local police department wherever you are off-campus. Below are instructions on how to download/access the app, as well as highlights of the other features it offers.
- Log in to RAVE with your NetID and password. Go to the dropdown menu in the upper right corner and choose My Account. Check to ensure your cell phone number is correct.
- Install and open the Rave Guardian app either from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- After downloading the app, open the app and enter your cell phone number. Then input the confirmation code you receive.
- You will be present with a similar screen but instead of your phone number it will be using your Montclair State University email address. Follow the same process as you did in the previous step.
- Always enable location for the Rave Guardian App.
