Representing Quadratic Functions Graphically (Case I)

At the beginning of the class, students were asked to draw two quadratics on mini whiteboards that looked “quite different from one another.” After working individually, students discussed their graphs in small groups. The teacher drew students together after some time and facilitated a whole‐class discussion based on the different graphs students created.
