This past June, several doctoral students and faculty from our department attended the annual conference of the New Jersey Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (NJAMTE) that took place at The College of New Jersey. Doctoral student Elise Lahiere together with Drs. Fernandez and Leszczynski presented their work on creating art and fraction understanding through hands-on technologies. The conference organization was led by the NJAMTE president and math faculty Dr. Panorkou.
