Elise Lahiere's title slide for her MAD World of Mathematical Modeling presentation

Doctoral candidate Elise Lahiere recently gave an invited talk at Asbury University that discussed the complex nature of mathematical modeling through Modeling Assessment Diagrams (MADs). In addition to using MADs to visually represent the dynamic ways that groups of students work towards a solution, practical implications of group work were discussed, along with an extension of MADs for studying student perseverance. Great work, Elise!
