Math and music – perfect together! The Montclair State University Chorale is a mixed voice symphonic choir in the John J. Cali School of Music. This year, the ensemble features two mathematics majors, Ryan Avallone and RJ Chandler, two mathematics teaching faculty members, Dr. Eliza Leszczynski and Dr. Denis Sheeran, and friend-of-the-department Stefan Nita (Dr. Nita’s son). This spring, everyone is buzzing with excitement as the Chorale gears up to perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and Runestad’s A Silence Haunts Me. Don’t miss their upcoming performances — come support the MSU Chorale and cheer on our mathematics students, colleagues, and friends!
