The Gender and Sexuality in Mathematics Education Working Group took place at the annual Psychology of Mathematics Education conference in Reno, Nevada. The working group conducted focused discussions on “Supporting learners and scholars through our stories” to provide math educators a forum to share their interest in and experiences with gender and sexuality research in mathematics education. The discussions highlighted the need for more intersectional research and a need for more inclusion of these kinds of discussions in teacher education programs.
We are so proud of how you are representing Montclair, Amanda!
