Mathematics Department Graduation Event
Posted in: Awards & Recognition, Students and Alumni

On May 19, the Department of Mathematics held a graduation event to celebrate the recent graduates of our many programs. The event was led by department chairperson Dr. Ashwin Vaidya who gave some inspiring remarks. Two department valedictorians were announced, Matthew Bischoff and Joshua Cellar, and each of them gave a stirring speech. With the help of the Mathematics faculty, graduates of both undergraduate and graduate programs were announced and applauded to celebrate the achievement of their degree. Department scholarship award winners and devoted student ambassadors were also announced and celebrated. The event concluded with refreshments in the department offices, and each student signed our glass “Wall of Memories” as the event concluded. Best of luck to all of our graduates! Please keep the department updated with all of your accomplishments in the future!
