On April 13th, doctoral student Amanda Provost represented herself and associate professor Nicole Panorkou at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting in Chicago. In a roundtable session she presented their research entitled “Co-splitting Fraction and Angle Measures of a Circle to Reason about Lunar Phases” to fellow education researchers. The talk reported on student covariational reasoning while using a computer simulation exploring the lunar phases.
Congratulations, Amanda. Thank you for representing MSU so well at AERA!
