Investigating Students’ Understanding of Infinity using GeoGebra
Doctoral students Malack Amenya, Matt Dalzell, and Masters student Rachael Cane presented their original research
Posted in: Faculty and Student Research, Students and Alumni
In their work, Investigating Students’ Understanding of Infinity using GeoGebra at the Southern Georgia Mathematics Conference, they found out that over half of the participants communicated an understanding of infinity. The other less than half communicated no understanding of infinity because the majority were hung up on mathematical properties and definitions. Malack, Matt & Rachael conducted their study as part of Dr. Panorkou’s class on Technological Tools for Education in Mathematics. Congratulations all!
