Doctoral students present at AMTE

Doctoral student, Amy Daniel, and doctoral candidate, Helene Leonard, recently gave a research presentation at the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educations annual conference in Orlando, FL. The title of their talk was Working Toward a Collegiality Spectrum to Describe Teacher Learning in a Community of Practice. During the talk, Amy and Helene shared about the nature of the professional development model they’ve been studying, as well as their insights on how engaging in collegial conversations can be a key factor supporting teacher learning. This presentation was part of the larger AIM-TRU project and doctoral student Youngjun Kim, research associate Dr. Victoria Bonaccorso, and faculty Dr. Joseph DiNapoli were also contributors.
