In the Hot Seat
Montclair State Professor David Sanders of the School of Communication and Media made TIME magazine’s list of “The Hottest Seats in Class” in fall 2013. TIME compiled the list by surveying students across the country to find the most popular professors on college campuses. Sanders, who teaches sound design production for film, TV and theater, joined the ranks of actor James Franco, writer Bob Woodward and former CIA Director David Petraeus as professors with the most sought after classes in the country. Others included professors at Yale, Harvard, Brown and Stanford. Sanders also was recognized for taking students overseas to places such as Tunisia and Jordan to produce documentaries.
