Short-term battery and charging station rentals are available at the Sprague Library Front Desk. They can be borrowed for a period of three (3) hours and may be taken outside of the building.
Batteries and charging stations are available to current Montclair students, faculty, and staff, on a first come, first served basis with a valid Montclair State University ID card.
The borrower is responsible for the equipment and the battery and charging station must be in their possession at all times.
Batteries and charging stations must be returned to a staff member at the Library’s Front Desk and cannot be placed in a return bin. Borrowers should immediately report any problems with the rented device(s) at the Sprague Library Front Desk.

Statement of Liability
By borrowing a battery and/or charging station, the borrower agrees to the terms and conditions of this policy. Failure to comply with this policy will result in one or more of the following:
For batteries and/or charging stations that are considered stolen, a police report will be filed and possible subjection to prosecution under applicable federal and New Jersey statutes.
Damaged and loss charges will be applied directly to the borrower’s University account. Based on the amount charged, a possible hold will be placed on the borrower’s University account.
