Museums on Us!
Posted in: Homepage Features
Sprague Library does not want our students, faculty or staff to miss some of the best museums in the New York metropolitan area. We believe that everyone should spend a day immersed in art, science, history and more at one of our local museums. What if you could visit a local museum for free? Sprague Library’s latest service is making it happen.
Sprague Library plans to increase museum visitation by Montclair students, faculty and staff through its new Museum Pass Program. If you have a Montclair State University ID card and are registered with our Library, you now have access to free admission to several participating museums in New York and New Jersey by borrowing membership passes at the Access Services desk.
Borrowers who have library accounts in good standing (no fines, fees, or overdue materials), may borrow museum passes. Passes can be reserved online up to 90 days in advance. Borrowers are limited to one pass per museum during a 30-day period. For more details about the Sprague Library Museum Pass Program or to reserve a pass online, visit http://www.montclair.edu/library/services-and-spaces/borrowing/.
