To complement our 24/7 Live Chat service and other forms of research support, Sprague Library has launched an on-call reference service, available Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.  This new on-demand service is for patrons who prefer to speak with a Sprague librarian in-person or via telephone about their research questions.  For in-person questions, please stop at the Front Desk of the library and the staff there will call the librarian on duty to come out and meet with you.  Alternatively, if you call the Front Desk at 973-655-4288 during these times with a research question, they can transfer you to the librarian on call.

In addition to our on-call reference service, there are many opportunities to get research assistance.  You can reach out to a librarian via: 24/7 live chat (available 365 days a year, or 366 days in a leap year); our email formresearch appointments; or contact one of our liaison librarians. We also offer a number of free workshops and Research Guides that include lists of recommended resources for subjects as well as courses, and we have an extensive FAQ.
