Workshop on Open Scholarship Policies

Are you interested in finding out more about how you can make your scholarship more open and accessible to other researchers and the public?

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Roundtable on Aligning Incentives for Open Science will meet on June 26th, 2023 for Promoting Equitable and Inclusive Implementation of Open Scholarship Policies: A Workshop. The Roundtable has assembled a diverse lineup of speakers to share perspectives on implications and opportunities related to the 2022 White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) memorandum “Ensuring Free, Immediate, and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research.” The roster includes early career researchers, representatives from HBCUs and minority-serving institutions, indigenous knowledge experts, not-for-profit publishers, and HELIOS representatives.
