University Libraries is thrilled to welcome you to the new academic year! We are here to provide Montclair students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community a wide range of services designed to enrich the library experience. Here are some of the fantastic resources available to you:

Museum Passes

Following the successful relaunch of our Museum Pass Program, you can continue to borrow passes to renowned museums across New York and New Jersey at no cost. This program offers access to popular institutions, including:

• American Museum of Natural History
• Guggenheim Museum
• International Center of Photography
• Intrepid Museum
• Montclair Art Museum
• Museum of the City of New York
• Newark Museum of Art
• Paley Center

Each pass provides free admission, with some offering exclusive access to special exhibitions and events.

How to Borrow: Passes can be checked out just like books using your Montclair ID card. Community members can use their NJ Government Issued ID. Reservations are available online through the University Libraries website or in person at the Sprague Library or Bloomfield College Library front desks. Be sure to review the Museum Pass Policy before making your reservation.

Battery Charging Stations

Need a quick charge but can’t find an outlet? Our Battery Charging Stations are here to help! Borrow a portable battery and charging station from the front desk to power up your devices. Each battery provides:

• Up to 14 cell phone charges
• 4 tablet charges
• 2 full laptop charges

Please review the Battery Charging Station Policy before checking out. Note: Charging cables are not currently available for borrowing.

Wellness Activities & Tools

Life can be stressful—let us help you unwind. At University Libraries, you can borrow a variety of wellness tools and activities to help you relax and recharge. Items available for checkout include:

• Noise-Canceling Ear Muffs
• Weighted Lap Pads
• Wobble Cushions
• Brain Teasers
• Decks of Cards
• Magnetic Sticks and Balls Building Puzzle
• Chess Sets
• Jigsaw Puzzles
• Board Games

Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the front desk.
