The Yearbook Scavenger Hunt – Homecoming 2024
Posted in: Homepage Features
University Libraries had the pleasure of attending Homecoming as one of the many organizations’ tables advertising their services to Homecoming guests as well as providing fun and useful giveaways. As the day progressed current students, their parents and alumni approached the library’s table to speak to library student employee, Catalina Ferraro ’26, to learn more about how the libraries can be of service to them.
In addition to showing off the valuable services we provide such as EZBorrow, alumni services, and information for graduate students, the Web Services and Systems Specialist and alumnus, Kevin Handeli ’13, took the opportunity to show off artifacts from the library’s archives. These included hard copies of prior yearbooks dating back to 1948, a beanie from 1967, and a diploma from 1965.
As another fun activity, various alumni found their senior photos within our digital collection of yearbooks in something of a scavenger hunt to show their families. Joyous laughter ensued!
