Welcome Back!

The University Libraries staff are thrilled to welcome students, faculty and university staff for the start of the Fall semester! Whether you’re a returning student or a new student just getting started, our library is here to support and inspire you throughout the upcoming academic year.
Library Spaces: Our libraries offer updated and comfortable spaces designed to accommodate your individual and group study needs. From quiet reading corners to our new study pods in Sprague Library, you’ll find the perfect spot to focus and collaborate effectively. We were happy to see a number of our first year students have already found a study pod and were making good use of it (see the featured photo). Book a study space today!
Explore Our Vast Collection: Library staff work incredibly hard to maintain an extensive collection of books, e-books, journals, and multimedia resources. Our online databases, e-books, streaming media, and academic journals are available 24/7, ensuring that you have the information you need at your fingertips. Visit the Bloomfield College Library website for access to resources available on that campus.
Expert Assistance: Our knowledgeable librarians are ready to assist you on your academic journey. Whether you need help locating research materials or navigating databases, we are here to guide you through every step of the research process. Ask a librarian for assistance.
Upcoming Workshops and Events: Throughout the Fall semester, we have an exciting lineup of workshops and events planned to enhance your academic skills and engage your intellectual curiosity. Keep an eye on our event calendar for details.
Extended loan periods: Undergraduates may now borrow most Sprague or Bloomfield College library books for up to 90 days, and any library user that makes a request from our new EZBorrow interlibrary loan service may enjoy books from other academic libraries in our consortium for up to 16 weeks.
We look forward to being a part of your academic journey and contributing to your success. Welcome back, and let’s make this Fall semester the best one yet!
Sincerely,
University Libraries Staff
