Sprague Library Welcomes Bloomfield College Library to the Montclair Community
Posted in: Homepage Features
Sprague Library extends a warm welcome to Bloomfield College faculty, staff and students! We have been working closely with Interim Director Mark Jackson to learn about Bloomfield College of Montclair State University Library and planning how best to support your teaching, research and scholarship as we integrate our services and operations over the coming year.
Bloomfield affiliates are encouraged to visit Sprague Library and present their Bloomfield ID, after which borrowing privileges will be provided for access to our physical materials such as books, CDs and DVDs. While on site, you will be able to use our electronic resources. Over the coming months, we will be rolling out access to electronic resources on site at the Bloomfield College Library and also remote access. An orientation session for faculty and staff will be scheduled. If you have any questions in the meantime, please continue to direct them to Interim Director Jackson at mark_jackson@bloomfield.edu or 973-748-9000 ext. 1714.
This merger will allow us to leverage our collective knowledge and resources to benefit students, faculty, and researchers, enriching their academic journeys. Whether you are looking for a quiet corner to study, a vibrant space for engaging discussions, or access to cutting-edge research materials, both libraries serve as great resources for learning and student academic achievement. Welcome to the beginning of a new chapter!
