Reserve a Study Space
Posted in: Homepage Features
All of the study spaces in Sprague Library can now be reserved first-come, first-serve through our new room booking website, where you’ll find descriptions and pictures of the rooms. There are listening rooms for listening to CDs, LPs and cassettes. There are viewing rooms for watching DVDs, Blu-ray videos, and VHS tapes. We have basic group study rooms with whiteboards, and fancier group collaborative spaces with videoconferencing hardware and software. We also have rooms with green screens, a photo study, and so much more!
Here are some general rules about using study rooms in the Library:
- Most Sprague Library study spaces are for 2 or more students and are intended for Montclair State University students working on course-related assignments, attending virtual classes, and meetings.
- Your group may have the room for no more than three hours during regular library hours. If your three hour time period has expired, you or any member of your group must wait at least one hour to reserve another room.
- Food and drink are banned from the collaborative spaces.
