Sprague Librarians Selected for OER Program

Two of our Sprague Librarians, Justin Savage and William Vincenti, were recently selected to participate in the VALE OER Certificate Program, offered by this collaborative organization of academic libraries in New Jersey. The goal of the program is to “increase the use and application of OER across colleges and universities within New Jersey.” Participants will have the opportunity to work with a VALE Ambassador and a cohort of New Jersey librarians, breaking down institutional boundaries while building capacity to further open educational resources and open pedagogy initiatives at their home institutions. The program runs from mid May through mid June, 2022 and culminates in a multi-institutional, collaborative project.
