Huge Game Donation From AFT Local 1904

Over the summer, Sprague Library received a generous donation of games and puzzles from the AFT Local 1904 Union for our Wellness@Sprague program.  Some of the games are available for borrowing while others are featured in the Relaxation Stations located throughout the building.  Appealing to introverts and extroverts alike, the games target single and multiple users.  Be sure to visit the Community Puzzle located on the second floor outside the Dean’s Office and the Brain Blox station located outside room 203 on the second floor.

By offering games and puzzles Sprague Library hopes to provide students with an opportunity for respite when study breaks are needed.  While libraries are traditionally a place for inquiry and discovery, we recognize that academic success also requires restoration of mind.  Be sure to check the library’s events list on the library homepage or in Hawksync for additional study break opportunities.

Students can borrow the following games for 3 hour loans:

Scrabble, Giant Checkers/Tic Tac Toe, Backgammon, Mastermind, Cranium, Chinese Checkers, Puzzle Cubes, Jeopardy Card Game, Chess, 3-Person Chess, Magnetic Sticks & Balls Building Puzzle

All you need is your ID Card to borrow a game.  Enjoy!
