The LGBTQ Center at Montclair State offers a broad variety of programs and training opportunities for students, faculty and staff that cover an array of transgender topics each semester. The Center also integrates trans topics, issues and speaker engagements into its programming throughout the year. Some examples include:

- Book readings
- Guest speakers and keynotes
- Exhibitions
- Panel Discussions
- Performances
- Training and workshops
In addition, the LGBTQ Center hosts the following annual events and observances:
- Transgender Visibility Week – (Generally the week that includes November 20)
- International Transgender Day of Remembrance – (Generally the week that includes November 20)
- International Transgender Day of Visibility – March 31
We also participate in the New Jersey Statewide Transgender Day of Remembrance Ceremony coordinated by the LGBT Center of Princeton University in collaboration with the Gender Rights Advocacy Association of New Jersey (GRAANJ).
