The audition process for this level of study in Music Education – School and Community Settings includes:
- An audition on your primary instrument or voice. Primary instrument audition requirements can be accessed via the Audition page.
- An interview with a Music Education faculty member to assess suitability.
Note: Transfer students who wish to transfer music history credits must submit a syllabus for each music history course for faculty review and approval.

The audition process for Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Music Education includes:
- An audition on your primary instrument or voice. Primary instrument audition requirements can be accessed via the Audition page.

*Master of Arts in Teaching Certification (MAT) & Master of Arts (MA) applicants do not have to audition. However, they must contact Marissa Silverman, the Graduate Education Coordinator, via email to schedule an interview.

- Upon acceptance to the Cali School, various placement tests will be administered.
- Non-music majors may only take general education music courses.
- Music minors are not currently offered.
