The Cali School faculty, students and alumni will present exciting concerts in celebration of the opening of the Leshowitz Recital Hall and the new music building:
Saturday, January 23 at 8 pm
This concert will include a work by Debussy, performed by professor and pianist Ruth Rendleman; movements from Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin performed by our fabulous student woodwind quintet; a new jazz work No One Can Hurt Me Now with music and lyrics by jazz faculty members Jeffrey Kunkel and Holli Ross, performed by Jeffrey Kunkel and friends.
On Sunday, January 24 at 3 pm, our Distinguished Alumni Concert will not only celebrate our opening, but honor our distinguished retired faculty. This concert will include works by Barber, Debussy, Ginastera, Molnar and alumni composers.
