Montclair State University Chorale Performs Benefit for Doctors Without Borders at Carnegie Hall – Jan 28th
Posted in: Cali News
The Montclair State University Chorale, under the direction of Heather J. Buchanan, will perform Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony at Carnegie Hall on January 28th. The Ninth Symphony is a call to recognize our interconnectedness as a global society. Beethoven’s music and Schiller’s text create a new possibility of cultural embrace between the West and East and German and Turkish musical idioms. This performance is for the Rohingya refugees who continue to endure unimaginable adversity. The concert will benefit the transformative work of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières.
