Cali Concerts at Van Vleck House 2014-2015

For the third season, Cali School of Music faculty, students and visiting artists will perform a series of concerts at the historic Van Vleck House, 21 Van Vleck Street, Montclair, NJ.

Sunday, October 19, at 2pm:  Featuring three contrasting sonatas from the Classical, Romantic and Modern periods, each written at a different stage of the composer’s life. The sonatas will be performed by violinist Suzanne Wagor, and pianist Mansoon Kim. Dr. Kim is a respected and experienced performer and teacher and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Cali School.  With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Ms. Wagor is a founder and Artistic Director of Five Seasons Chamber Music. 

Additional concerts in this series are scheduled for Sundays at 2 pm on: November 9, March 1, March 22 and April 12

All concerts are open to the public with no charge for admission. Seating is limited, so reservations are required; contact 973-744-4752 or info@vanvleck.org.  Previous concerts have been over-subscribed, so make reservations early. There is no admission charge, but contributions are welcome.

Attracting talented students, faculty, and visiting artists from around the world, the Cali School has shared its music resources with a growing audience through this series, which offers the public a chance to hear a variety of classical music styles performed by accomplished artists and their students.

Van Vleck House & Gardens is owned by The Montclair Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization supporting non-profits in our community.  The Foundation is dedicated to preserving the historic Van Vleck property for public enrichment, horticultural education and research.  Continuing the Van Vleck family’s commitment to the community, the house serves as a center for non-profit events and is home to several New Jersey foundations.
