Instructional Technology and Design Services (ITDS) and the Summer Session Office invite you to our faculty development event on Wednesday, May 11, to help you get ready for the summer semester! These sessions are applicable to teaching in person, online or hybrid.
This event includes four sessions. All sessions will take place in the same Zoom meeting room. Participants will receive resources in Canvas prior to the event.

Adapting your course to an accelerated format requires special attention to pacing, workload, and other considerations to facilitate student success in just a few weeks. Join us for an overview of strategies and best practices to consider, as well as advice from experienced Summer Session Faculty Joaly Garcia, Instructional Designer & Adjunct Faculty of Spanish & Latino Studies. An opportunity to share your own successes, lessons learned, and steps for success teaching in the Summer session will also be provided. |

We have put together a series of Tips & Tricks to ensure you have everything you need to effectively and efficiently prepare your Summer courses. Whether you are new to Canvas or not, there may be some tricks you are unaware of or even possibilities in teaching your course that you have not yet considered. |
