The OFE, ITDS, and the ADP Center are pleased to announce a Faculty Showcase focused on pedagogical practices and innovations using generative AI. We invite you to participate and share your teaching excellence and innovation with colleagues across the University.
- When: Wednesday, December 13th, from 10:00am – 1:30pm (includes lunch)
- Where: University Hall Room 1122
We anticipate that presenters will be in person, and attendees will be in person or remote. The Showcase will also provide the opportunity for attendees to learn more about GenAI teaching and learning tools, as well as seek advice and counsel from OFE, ITDS, and ADP staff.
Possible Topics
We invite proposals on topics related to generative AI and teaching and learning such as these:
- Course design
- GenAI literacy
- Assignments
- Assessment
- Human/GenAI collaboration
- GenAI, ethics, and bias
- GenAI and academic honesty
- GenAI for research
Possible Formats
- 10-minute presentation
- Lightning talks: 5 minutes long, accompanied by no more than 20 slides — 15 seconds each; automatically advanced.
Submission Guidelines
- Submit your proposal, including an abstract of 150-200 words, by November 15th.
- Participants will be notified by Dec 1.
