Classics Day 2020

This year’s Classics Day, sponsored by the Department of Classics and General Humanities and the Institute for the Humanities will feature a plenary session by George O’ Connell, graphic novelist and author of The Olympians series.  In addition, breakout sessions on slavery, “spooky” Rome, ancient Greek for Latin students, technology in myths and sacred places, a Latin ghost story, encounters with the classical Underworld, and much else besides!  Students and teachers are invited to join us by registering for this first ever virtual version of our annual Classics Day — and our thirtieth year! — Friday, October 30, 2020.
