A Celebration of the Theresa and Lawrence R. Inserra Endowed Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies

On Wednesday, February 18, 2009 Susan A. Cole, President and< Willard P. Gingerich, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, held a celebration for the Theresa and Lawrence R. Inserra Endowed Chair in Italian and Italian American Studie in University Hall Conference Center, 7th Floor.
Montclair State University is proud to celebrate the culmination of fundraising for the Theresa and Lawrence R. Inserra Endowed Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies. This event is an opportunity to thank all those who have helped make it possible for the University to move forward with hiring an outstanding scholar for this position. The Inserra Chair will assure the distinction of Italian and Italian American Studies at Montclair State University in perpetuity and support and focus all study on issues related to Italian American culture.
The evening’s program will include remarks from Montclair State leaders, special guests, and a musical performance of select Italian compositions by Montclair State students. The University gratefully acknowledges the generosity of the Joseph and Elda Coccia Institute for the Italian Experience in America in providing support for the evening’s program.”
