Media Coverage on Inserra March and April Events

The 2015-16 Inserra calendar of events closed with two successful programs addressing important topics in education and the media.

A panel of advocates and practitioners of the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy was held on Tuesday March 15^th and featured Reggio Children Liaison for the Dissemination of the Reggio Emilia Approach in the U.S. Lella Gandini, among other guests.

The April 12^th event focused on ethnic media and the historical and contemporary role of the Italian media in the U.S. in particular. The result was an engaging conversation between media representatives Maurita Cardone for La Voce di New York and Lucia Grillo for Italics, as well as scholar Bénédicte Deschamps from the University of Paris Diderot and journalist Alberto Vourvoulias-Bush.
