Lawrence R. Inserra Jr. Honored at the 2019 Scholarship Dinner

The 2019 Annual Scholarship Dinner with its nearly 350 attendees (watch slide show here) honored the exemplary service, philanthropy and leadership of Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr. and Inserra Supermarkets, who received the Rose and John J. Cali Award for Business Leadership and Community Engagement.
Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr. is Chairman and CEO of Inserra Supermarkets, Inc., one of the largest supermarket chains in the metropolitan area, which operates ShopRite stores throughout New Jersey and New York.
The Inserra family has made a lasting impact to benefit students at Montclair State University in many forms including the Inserra Endowed Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies which offers a wide array of cultural programs and educational activities, as well as substantial scholarships for paid internships in Italian Business and Translation for Opera.
