“Business Italian Style” Project at 2015 Italian National Day Celebration

On June 2nd, the Inserra Chair and the Italian Program (Department of Spanish and Italian) at Montclair State University, along with La Voce di New York, will be presenting their Business Italian Style project at the prestigious venue of the Italian Trade Commission/ICE (Consular Office: 33 East 67th St.). On the occasion of the Italian National Day 2015 celebration, the Consular Offices will open their doors to the public (11am-5pm): the ICE Agency will showcase Italian food culture in connection with the Expo 2015 theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”.

With Business Italian Style, twenty Montclair State University students interviewed leading NYC/NJ-based “Made in Italy” business representatives (design, fashion, art and food ) for a media project that produced four subtitled video interviews and related articles. Published in the daily Italian language online newspaper, La Voce di New York, the articles have received more than 60,000 views since February 2015.

On June 2nd, Business Italian Style will be presented to a wide audience of Italian and international business people through an info point, screening of videos and a pop-up seminar (a short presentation by faculty and students, 11:30am).
