The BC Pass Card is the official identification (ID) card of Bloomfield College. It is issued to all members of the College Community and is required for identification and access to essential campus services such as borrowing Library books, reserving Library study rooms, screening media in the Media Center, and entrance to the dining cafeteria. The photo taken for your BC Pass card will not only be printed on your BC Pass card but will also be loaded into your electronic student (or faculty/staff) record. The BC Pass offers users the ability to add monetary funds to a convenient pre-paid account, called BCBucks, for making purchases on campus. All active students, faculty, and staff at Bloomfield College are currently eligible to receive a BC Pass Card.
All registered students and active employees are issued a BC Pass Card via the ID Card Center located near the Information Technology Help Desk at 185 Liberty Street. The hours of operation are found at www.bloomfield.edu/bcpass. Be sure to bring appropriate identification as indicated in the BCPass Identity Verification Policy.
Registering your BC Pass Card online will provide you with the only way to suspend your card if it is lost or stolen after school business hours and when the College is closed. Although there are safeguards against fraudulent use, users are responsible for the monetary funds placed on their BC Pass card.
