Cayuse SSO Migration (for Students)

In our continuing efforts to improve security when accessing Montclair State University online resources, Information Technology will be migrating the authentication of the Cayuse Research Suite, the application used for IRB study submission, from Shibboleth to our Single Sign On (SSO) on Friday, November 17th. The migration process will run between Noon – 1pm. During this time, users will not be able to access Cayuse Research Suite. Users may also be unable to log into the IRB application for an additional 24 hours after the migration.  Therefore, we ask that you plan accordingly.

What Do I Need To Know?

• The migration process will not affect your login credentials and you will continue using your existing NetID and password.
• After the migration process is completed login to Cayuse will require Multi Factor Authentication (MFA). Assuming you are already using the multi-factor authentication, you will not need to re-enroll.
