Reminder: Hewlett Packard (HP) Printer Standardization

As a reminder, the Division of Information Technology has standardized and supports HP local and networked printers.  When purchasing local or network printers, we encourage the purchase of these printers through our MRA punchout in Workday.

In order to ensure that new printers are compatible with the most current operating system, can connect to our print management system, and are secured, we will no longer be adding or supporting new printers outside of these standard models to our network.  It is important to note that wireless printers are not allowed at Montclair State University.

Effective November 2022,  the following models can be purchased through the MRA Punch Out on Workday. The models listed range in price and size and you can find more details here. (Please Note:  These models will change based on lifecycle)

  • HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dn

  • HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdn

  • HP LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise M608dn

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise M555dn

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise M751dn

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise M806dn

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise M806x+

 Please Note: SBUS and CSAM Core have standardized on some non-HP models.  To confirm if your new printer purchase will be supported, please work directly with your technology support team before purchasing.
