Empowering Online/Hybrid Teaching and Learning(EOTL) program in Spring!
Posted in: News
Instructional Technology & Design Services (ITDS) will offer two sessions of our Faculty Development Program: “Empowering Online/Hybrid Teaching and Learning (EOTL)” in Spring 2021. The EOTL program is an online, asynchronous course intended to provide faculty with an overview of online teaching and learning and a pedagogical foundation for designing and teaching learner-center courses at Montclair State University. The pedagogical strategies and best practices introduced in EOTL are applicable for both online and hybrid courses. Faculty participants experience taking an online course while applying research-based approaches to the design and teaching of their own courses.
Please visit the Empowering Online/Hybrid Teaching and Learning (EOTL) web page for details and registration information. Each session will run three consecutive weeks. The EOTL program is conducted in Canvas and includes the following topics:
- Designing Learner-Centered Online/Hybrid Courses
- Online/Hybrid Community and Interaction
- Online/Hybrid Learning Assessments
Please also check the ITDS Faculty Development website to explore more faculty development events/workshops. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact any member of ITDS.
