New Zoom Live Transcript!

Zoom now provides live audio captioning!

The host of a Zoom meeting can enable the ‘Live Transcript’ feature and any participants can view the captioning as needed.

Please note that this option must be enabled by the host for each Zoom session.

Please note that the accuracy of Zoom’s live transcription feature depends on many variables, such as but not limited to:

• Background noise
• Volume and clarity of the speaker’s voice
• Speaker’s proficiency with the English language
• Lexicons and dialects specific to a geography or community
