CIM Course Management System Now Live
Posted in: News
The first module of our new Curriculum Inventory Management software (or CIM) – CIM Courses – is now live, and available to faculty and staff via the “Curriculum Development Resources” portlet in NEST.
CIM provides a transparent, streamlined review and approval process which will facilitate a faster turn-around of courses and program proposals, enabling the institution to become more responsive to the ever changing curricular landscape. Additionally, CIM integrates with our existing Catalog software (CAT), leading to more accurate information in the University Catalog, and also integrates with both our existing Banner and Degreeworks software. Courses approved in CIM are then scheduled in CLSS, our new scheduling software, already in use.
Job aids as well as links to the CIM Course module can be found on the Curriculum Development Resources portlet in NEST. If you were not able to attend the virtual training, videos of the sessions will be made available shortly.
Questions regarding the new software should be directed to a centralized email, cimcourses@montclair.edu.
