Modernized University Conference Center
Posted in: News
The Conference Center located at University Hall on the 7th floor has received a number of important and cutting edge upgrades.
This includes state of the art audio, video, camera, live streaming and wireless connectivity as a result of a significant investment by the conference center, Facilities and IT groups in partnership with Sony Electronics. The conference center reopened this week after a two-month closure for the project.
The AV technology that was identified for the Conference Center, which includes the President’s Dining Room, will be better than ever with new Sony Laser Projectors, Crestron AV Control System, AirMedia to allow for wireless connectivity, a sound system, microphones (wired and wireless), PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras, a new headend, and brand new wiring to the 12 individual floor boxes in order to deliver incredible service to all the Conference Center’s clients, both internal and external. This will allow the Conference Center to also provide video conferencing, live streaming, and recording capabilities. Additionally, the upgrade enhances the acoustics in the breakout spaces.
