Our New Data Center

The new IT data center and network operations center being built as part of the College Hall renovation are progressing on schedule. The interior construction of the new IT facility has started and will include installation of fault-tolerant air conditioning and electrical service and a modular design for cable management and power circuits to network and server equipment cabinets.

The new facility will complement the primary data center in University Hall and provide better stability and performance for all on-campus networking, application, and data storage services. The new IT data center construction is scheduled for completion in June 2019, at which point IT will begin migrating computing and network equipment from their current locations in the main College Hall building into the new space.
