A New Approach to Faculty Textbook Selection

The Office of Student Development and Campus Life in partnership with the Provost’s Office have negotiated an agreement for Follet Discover, a solution which will greatly facilitate the textbook adoption process for Faculty. Highlights of this new technology suite include a transformation of course material adoptions through the Follet Discover tool which includes tools that enable instructors to explore a vast source of course materials including searching all Books in Print, textbook offerings, open educational resources (OER) and more. The book adoption process has been streamlined by eliminating the paperwork and guesswork associated with submitting traditional adoptions. The Follet Discover tool is currently available to instructors within Canvas to enable the timely submission of book adoptions.
