The New Jersey Division of Pensions and Benefits (NJDPB) has designated Sunday, October 1, 2023 – Tuesday, October 31, 2023, as Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment is your yearly opportunity to review benefits and make changes for the next calendar year. All changes made during Open Enrollment will be effective on Monday, January 1, 2024.
Enrollment
- No action is required if: You do not wish to change or modify your medical or dental benefits.
- Action is required: To enroll and re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts.
- Beginning Sunday, October 1, 2023, employees will be able to log into the Benefitsolver website by accessing a link on their MyNewJersey portal or via mynjbenefitshub.nj.gov.
What’s New?
Find out What’s New for 2024 at the interactive Virtual Benefits Fair! Log into this NJDPB web portal to view resources about your benefit options. That includes:
- See what’s new and visit vendor booths to learn about their plan options and additional free benefits offered by NJDPB.
- Access resources to help you compare plans and rates.
- NJ Direct HD Plans:
- HD1500 plan will be replaced by a new NJ DIRECT HDLow plan
- HD4000 plan will be replaced by a new NJ DIRECT HDHigh plan.
- For plan details including deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums and HSA spending accounts.
- Medical Plans Comparison for 2024
- Dental Plans Information for 2024
- 2024 rates are being finalized. Percentage of salary and percentage of premium contribution worksheets for 2024 will be available on Sunday, October 1 at NJDPB.
Flexible Spending Accounts
If you want to participate in the Tax$ave Medical and/or Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) in 2024, you must enroll in the FSA plan(s) during Open Enrollment.
- Enrollment in the Tax$ave FSAs do not renew automatically from plan year to plan year, you must re-enroll every year.
- Employees may enroll directly with Horizon in one of these ways:
