New Online Website for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Insurance Enrollment and Changes.

The New Jersey Division of Pensions and Benefits (NJDPB) has designated October 1, 2020 –
October 31, 2020 as Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment is your yearly opportunity to review
benefits and make changes for the next calendar year. While more information regarding Open
Enrollment will be available soon, we wanted to provide an important and exciting update
regarding a change to the Open Enrollment process.
Benefitsolver
Employees currently enrolled in the New Jersey State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) will be
receiving a letter from the New Jersey Division of Pensions and Benefits (NJDPB) announcing a
new online portal to manage your health benefits. The letter you will receive confirms that
NJDPB has selected a software company named Businessolver to host the new website. The
new site will be accessed through your MyNewJersey portal account and is called Benefitsolver. Please know the letter is an authorized NJDPB communication and you should review the materials thoroughly.
Benefitsolver will be your online portal for information about your health benefits and to complete your SHBP health applications online. The Benefitsolver Portal enables employee enrolled in the SHBP to:
- Add eligible dependents
- Upload documentation right to the website
- Access links to all your health benefit vendors
- View your health benefits coverage
- Have 24/7 access to Benefitsolver
- Download the Mychoice mobile app
Beginning October 1, 2020, employees will be able to log into the Benefitsolver website by accessing a link on the MyNewJersey portal (my.state.nj.us). If you have trouble creating an
account and/or accessing the portal, please contact NJOIT support. Please Note: This link does not support the Benefitsolver website. More information regarding Benefitsolver will be made available shortly by the vendor.
